Since its establishment, our department has been dedicated to enhancing foreign language education and promoting international understanding. We have taken the lead in various nationally and regionally designated educational programs, developing pioneering and innovative learning initiatives.

In recent years, we have set our department’s goal as “fostering Global Citizens who can live and work harmoniously with people from different cultural backgrounds, cultivate the ability to thrive in such a diverse society, and engage proactively in discussions and communication aimed at solving global issues.”

With a creative and distinctive curriculum and a variety of inspiring school events, we continue to make steady progress toward this goal. In our culturally diverse environment—where students with a strong interest in languages and intercultural exchange study alongside international students—we nurture globally minded individuals who are ready to contribute to the world.

Roads to Overseas Universities【海外大学への道】

This year, a new path has opened up for our students’ future after graduation. In the summer, SIT formed a partnership with the International Federation of Universities (IFU), headquartered in Wales, the U.K.. Through this agreement, we have been granted designated recommendation placements at four universities in the United Kingdom, and one each in Ireland and the United States. This partnership has created a strong pathway to nurture true global citizens who will contribute to society on an international scale. We are also preparing to introduce a Pre-Foundation Course—a preparatory program for university study abroad—which students will be able to take as part of our school’s curriculum while still enrolled. Join us and shine on the global stage!

そして今年度、卒業後の進路に関して、新たな針路が生まれました。今夏、ＩＦＵ（国際大学連合、本部ウェールズ）と提携を結び、イギリス4大学、アイルランド、米国に各１校の指定校推薦枠をいただきました。将来世界を股にかけて社会に貢献する真の国際人を育てる強力なパイプができたのです。そして現在、在学中に本校のカリキュラムで「プレ・ファウンデーション・コース（学部に入るための準備コース）」を受講できる準備を進めています。
